We Are Moving!

The last three years in Ipan have been some of the best of my life. With wonderful views of the ocean, amazing neighbors, comfortable breezes off the ocean, banana and coconut trees in the yard…what’s not to love?

Yet, the best part has been that time spent studying, praising preaching, teaching, and fellowshipping with my brothers and sisters in Christ. Since the planting the church of Christ Guam in our house, we have enjoyed those times even more so. But, our desire will always be to serve God and the church, wherever we may find ourselves.

With that, our intention from the beginning of our time on this beautiful island has been to grow the church—not only in number but in knowledge and in faith. While growth in faith is not always measurable, growth in numbers is, and our numbers have grown. What started with ten souls has now grown into over twenty regularly, and our home just is not big enough. Plus, there are several small children among that number and we really want to have space to teach them separately from the rest.  Add to that the fact that most of our members live farther north than we are, it just makes sense to move in that direction.

So, we are moving to a larger house in Mangilao, beginning April 22. The house is the last on the left on Corten Torres (108), directly across from the bookstore and library at Guam Community College. We look forward to seeing you there if you can join us. ~Wade
